Austrian president, FM planning to visit Iran in September

Tehran, July 18, IRNA – Austrian President Heinz Fischer and Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz are planning to pay a visit to Tehran within next two months. “I will accompany President Fischer during his visit to Iran in September,” Kurz said on Saturday. The Austrian president’s spokesman said that the exact date of President Fischer’s visit to Iran has not been set as yet and it will probably be finalized next week. There have been friendly relations between Iran and Austria during past years and, on many occasions, the two countries’ officials have stressed expansion of mutual cooperation between the two nations in various fields.
