Azerbaijan, Belarus discuss prospects for cooperation

Baku, May 22, AZERTAC Azerbaijan and Belarus have discussed prospects for cooperation as Prime Minister Artur Rasizade met Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko, who is visiting Baku to attend annual international food industry and agricultural exhibitions. Mr. Semashko, who also co-chairs a joint intergovernmental commission on trade and economic co-operation, said more than 60 Belarusian companies are demonstrating their products at the exhibition. He hailed the organization of the event. The Belarusian Deputy Premier expressed his confidence that Azerbaijan will “excellently” organize the forthcoming inaugural European Games. Mr Rasizade highlighted the importance of the international food industry and agricultural exhibitions, and hailed Belarus` participation in the events. He underlined the necessity of expanding relations between the two countries' ministries of agriculture, particularly conducting experience exchange.
