Azerbaijan, Croatia to enhance legal framework of cooperation

Azerbaijan, Baku, March 7 / Trend S. Agayeva / Several bilateral documents are expected to be signed during Croatian President Ivo Josipović's official visit to Azerbaijan scheduled for March 12-13. In particular, the documents include an agreement on avoidance of double taxation and abolition of visas for holders of diplomatic and service passports and memorandum of understanding on cooperation in anti-mine activities and mine clearance, diplomatic sources told Trend on Wednesday. President Josipović will hold official meetings with the country's leadership and discuss prospects of bilateral relations. Azerbaijani-Croatian business forum will be held with participation of business circles of both countries. Representatives of about 40 Croatian companies will arrive in Baku for this purpose. According to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee, the volume of trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $356.4 million in 2011. Do you have any feedback?
