Azerbaijan, Czech Republic discuss how to develop agricultural cooperation

Baku, October 16, AzerTAc Azerbaijan`s Minister of Agriculture Heydar Asadov has met Deputy Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Vojtech Filip to discuss prospects for agricultural cooperation between the two countries. Asadov highlighted rapid development of Azerbaijan`s economy. The Azerbaijani Minister praised the close cooperation between the two countries` parliaments, and stressed the importance of boosting relations in the field of agriculture. Asadov hailed the application of new systems in agriculture, as well as the establishment of the legal framework and a relevant working group. The Minister said there was a fruitful investment environment in Azerbaijan in the field of agriculture. Vojtech Filip said his country attached importance to expanding ties with Azerbaijan in a variety of fields.
