Azerbaijan, Georgia discuss defence cooperation

Baku, August 18 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Minister of Defence Zakir Hasanov has today met Georgian counterpart Irakli Alasania to discuss defence cooperation between the two countries. Hasanov stressed the strategic importance of the negotiations and meetings held between Azerbaijan and Georgia. He hailed development of military cooperation between the two countries as rapid. The ministers also discussed military and political situation in the region.
