Azerbaijan, Hungary sign documents on economic cooperation

Azerbaijan, Baku, Nov. 11 / Trend , N.Ismayilova / The Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents and the Hungarian Trade Licensing Office signed a memorandum of understanding on technical cooperation in the field of metrology. The document was undersigned by State Committee Chairman Ramiz Hasanov from the Azerbaijani side and Deputy Director General Peter Pakay from the Hungarian side. The memorandum was signed in the framework of the second session of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Hungary in Baku. A protocol was also signed following the meeting. It was undersigned by Economic Development Minister, Co-Chair of the intergovernmental comission Shahin Mustafayev and Secretary of the Hungarian National Economy Ministry Rose Nad. The protocol assumes development of the sides' cooperation in industrial, agricultural, construction, transport, information -communication technologies, science and education, tourism, culture, environmental protection, financial, banking , health and other spheres. According to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee, in January-August 2011 the trade turnover between the two countries reached $13.12 million, in which the share of made up $13.115 million.
