'Azerbaijan is an important country for Europe'

Baku, January 25, AZERTAC “Azerbaijan is an important country for Europe. We will discuss important issues related to the country and region,” said vice-president of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly George Tsereteli as he was interviewed by journalists in Baku. He expressed his confidence that this visit would give impetus to further development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and OSCE. Touching upon the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the OSCE PA vice-president underlined the organization's concern about the recent tension on the troops line of contact. He stressed the need for peaceful resolution of the conflict within the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group.
