Azerbaijan, Malta discuss how to develop relations

Baku, December 4, AZERTAC Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has met Maltese counterpart George Vella on the sidelines of the 22th meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Belgrade. They discussed how to develop the bilateral relations between the two countries. The ministers mentioned the wide opportunities for strengthening cooperation in such areas as economy, energy and tourism. The sides stressed the necessity of developing legal base. Mammadyarov and Vella noted the significance of reciprocal visits in terms of promoting the bilateral ties. The two also discussed the prospects of cooperation between the diplomatic institutions of the two countries.
