Azerbaijan, Serbia sign deal on defense cooperation

Baku, February 18 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan and Serbia have signed an agreement on cooperation in defense. The deal was inked by Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov and his Serbian counterpart Nebojsa Rodic in Belgrade. Prior to the signing ceremony the two ministers discussed priorities of bilateral cooperation, and security issues. In Belgrade, Minister Hasanov visited Tasmajdan Park, whose reconstruction was supported by the Azerbaijani government, to lay wreaths at monuments to national leader Heydar Aliyev, Serbian writer Milorad Pavic and children that died during the NATO bombing campaign.
