Azerbaijan, Vietnam discuss prospects for military cooperation

Hanoi, June 19, AZERTAC Azerbaijani Ambassador to Vietnam Anar Imanov has met the country’s Deputy Minister of National Defense Chiu Kuo-cheng to discuss prospects for military cooperation between the two countries. “There is great potential for cooperation in military and military-technical spheres between Azerbaijan and Vietnam,” said the Ambassador. He highlighted the role of high-level visits. Mr Imanov said: “The heads of state declared the development of military cooperation as a priority.” He highlighted the government`s measures to improve the army and strengthen the country’s military-industrial complex. The Vietnamese Deputy Minister thanked the Azerbaijani government for supporting Vietnam in its difficult days.
