Azerbaijani Ambassador meets Vice Foreign Minister of China

Beijing, August 17 AZERTAC Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to China Latif Gandilov has met Vice Foreign Minister Cheng Guoping. On developing bilateral relations, Cheng Guoping said the meeting of the Heads of States in Shanghai gave contributions to development of cooperation in overall fields. He also stressed the importance of visit of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov to China in terms of development of cooperation. The Vice Minister highlighted beneficial cooperation in the economic-trade, financial, humanitarian fields saying there were wide opportunities for further improving relations. Cheng Guoping stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation within the international organizations. Latif Gandilov handed over a letter of condolences of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev addressed to Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China on strong explosions in the city of Tianjin. He applauded relations between the two countries, saying Azerbaijan was ready to strengthen the joint efforts to further expand bonds. The Ambassador highlighted Baku-Tbilisi-Garsroute in delivering products of China to Europe.
