Baku, Azerbaijan, July 29 Trend: The Azerbaijani armed forces destroyed another Armenian drone, the Azerbaijani defense ministry told Trend July 29. A DJI Inspire1 (Quadcopter) drone of the Armenian armed forces attempted to make flights over the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces in the direction of the Aghdam district, but it was revealed on time due to the vigilance of the Azerbaijani armed forces. Earlier, the Azerbaijani armed forces destroyed three Armenian drones - two on the frontline in the Terter district, one - on the frontline in the direction of the Fizuli district. The conflict between the two South Caucasus countries began in 1988 when Armenia made territorial claims against Azerbaijan. As a result of the ensuing war, in 1992 Armenian armed forces occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan, including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and seven surrounding districts. The two countries signed a ceasefire agreement in 1994. The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Russia, France and the US are currently holding peace negotiations.
