Azerbaijani, Armenian FMs discuss Nagorno-Karabakh conflict negotiation process in Brussels

Baku, July 12, AZERTAC Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Foreign Minister of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan have met for the first time in Brussels to discuss the negotiation process on the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, spokesperson for Azerbaijan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hikmat Hajiyev has told AZERTAC. Co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Igor Popov (the Russian Federation), Stephane Visconti (France), and Andrew Schofer (the United States of America), and Personal Representative of OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk also took part in the meeting. The meeting lasted for about four hours. Prior to the meeting, Azerbaijani FM Elmar Mammadyarov met with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chirs. During the meeting, the sides discussed in detail the negotiation process on the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, underlining the continuation of the current negotiation formats. They also exchanged views on the next steps on progress in the negotiation process and the action plans of the co-chairs.
