Azerbaijani Defence Minister embarks on official visit to Kyrgyzstan

Baku, June 1 AZERTAC An Azerbaijani delegation led by Defence Minister, colonel-general Zakir Hasonov has today visited the memorial Eternal Flame on Victory Square in Bishkek and laid a wreath at the monument. Mr. Hasanov was welcomed by his Kyrgyz counterpart Abibilla Kudaiberdiev. During the visit, the Ministers stressed the importance of the talks and meetings between the two countries and paid attention to the issues of the development of cooperation, exchange of experience and staff training in the military field. Then, the Azerbaijani delegation visited the military training center of the Kyrgyz armed forces in Koy-Tash. The delegation briefed on the history, activity and structure of the Center. The visit will last up to June 2.
