Baku, April 23 (AzerTAc). “We have reached consensus on many principal points related to the final document to be adopted at the Astrakhan Summit of heads of state of the Caspian littoral countries,” said Azerbaijani deputy FM Khalaf Khalafov, who attended a conference of FMs of the Caspian littoral states in Moscow. “The Astrakhan Summit will be preceded by meetings of the Working Group on the level of deputy foreign ministers in Tehran and Astrakhan.” Mr. Khalafov said he strongly believed that “all the issues to be included in the Astrakhan Summit agenda will be agreed at these meetings”. “We will also agree on the adoption of a final communiqué reflecting the results of the Summit,” said the deputy FM. Mr. Khalafov added: “We also plan to finalize our work on draft agreements on hydrometeorology and moratorium on sturgeon fishing, and a draft intergovernmental agreement on prevention and elimination of consequences of emergency situations.”
