Azerbaijani Deputy PM warns Head of Azerbaijan Delegation of ICRC

Baku, July 30 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov has today met Head of the Azerbaijan Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRS) Deniz Duran. They discussed liberation of Russian citizen Dilgam Asgarov and Azerbaijani citizen Shahbaz Guliyev, who had been groundlessly detained by the Armenian armed forces in Kalbajar region, as well as the return of Azerbaijani citizen Hasan Hasanov`s dead body. Hasanov seriously warned the ICRC official, saying they must increase their efforts towards ensuring the return of Hasan Hasanov`s dead body. He noted that these facts raise concern of the community and IDPs to the international organizations. “If today Armenia demonstrates such position in return of hostages and dead body, so how we can talk about future neighborhood relations based on mutual confidence.” Hasanov noted that President Ilham Aliyev pays special attention to the issue from the first day. Head of the Working Group of the State Commission on Prisoners of War Hostages and Missing persons Firudin Sadigov also attended the meeting. According to the State Committee, the letter of Russian citizen Dilgam Asgarov and Azerbaijani citizen Shahbaz Guliyev`s family members to Russian President Vladimir Putin was delivered to the Kremlin post office on June 28. The Deputy Prime Minister also met with Hasan Hasanov`s family members.
