Azerbaijani gymnasts leading at Baku’s Open Joint Championships in Gymnastics

Baku, Azerbaijan, March 4 By Maksim Tsurkov – Trend: Azerbaijani gymnasts Oleg Stepko and Kristina Pravdina are currently in the lead in the all-around competition at the Open Joint Azerbaijan Championships in Gymnastics in Baku March 4. Azerbaijan’s representative Oleg Stepko with 45 points is in the lead among the men in all-around competition following three rotations. Another Azerbaijani gymnast Petr Pahnyuk with 43.550 points ranks second. The Croatian winner of the Olympic Games in London Filip Ude with 42.850 points is third. Azerbaijani gymnast Kristina Pravdina with 26.233 points is in the lead in the all-around competition among women following two rotations. Turkish gymnast Tutya Yilmaz with 25.299 points is second. Another gymnast of Azerbaijan Yulia Inshina with 24.932 points ranks third. The medal winners among men will be determined in the all-around competition after six rotations and among women following four rotations. The Open Joint Azerbaijan Championships in Gymnastics has started in Baku. This is the test championship on the eve of the European Games. The official opening ceremony of the Open Joint Azerbaijan Championships in Gymnastics was held in Baku on March 4.
