Azerbaijani Interior Minister meets Qatari Ambassador

Baku, October 30, AzerTAc Azerbaijan`s Minister of Internal Affairs Ramil Usubov has met Ambassador of the State of Qatar Mubarak bin Fahad Al-Thani. Mr. Usubov praised Azerbaijani-Qatari relations, saying they were rapidly developing on all fronts. “My official visit to Qatar earlier this Month on the invitation of Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser Bin Khalifa Al-Thani is a vivid evidence of this.” He also hailed the signing of a security agreement between the governments of Azerbaijan and Qatar. The Minister said reciprocal visits and bilateral meetings contribute to the expansion of the relations between the two countries` law-enforcement authorities. Mr. Usubov said Azerbaijan is interested in deepening the bilateral relations with Qatar. Ambassador Fahad Al-Thani hailed cooperation between Qatar and Azerbaijan. The Ambassador thanked the Azerbaijani government for “safe and favorable conditions” created for Qatar`s diplomatic mission in Baku.
