Azerbaijani MP to attend NATO PA seminar in Italy

Baku, November 22, AZERTAC Member of Azerbaijan`s Parliament Malahat Ibrahimgizi will be visiting Italy to attend NATO PA Joint Seminar of the Mediterranean and Middle East Special Group (GSM) and the Sub-Committee on Transatlantic Defense and Security Cooperation (DSCTC) through November 22-26. The session participants are said to focus on the terror threats in Europe and the Balkans, fighting international terrorism, current state in Libya, construction of new defense systems in this country, Italy’s role in the fight against ISIS, the future of Iraq and other questions. The NATO PA Mediterranean and Middle East Special Group (GSM) provides a forum for parliamentarians from NATO countries and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to discuss political and security issues and to enhance cooperation.
