Azerbaijani MP to join conference in Italy

Baku, September 16 (AzerTAc). Member of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova will leave for Italy to join a conference co-organized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Equality and Non-Discrimination of Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe. The conference will discuss a number of issues, including fighting against the human trafficking in Europe, and the strengthening of the awareness on women's rights. The Council of Europe’s Parliamentary Assembly (PACE) has set up a Committee on Equality and Non-Discrimination as it`s responsibilities include equality, discrimination (on any grounds), all forms of racism, xenophobia and the situation of minorities.
