Azerbaijani, Russian FMs meet in Moscow

Moscow, May 25, AZERTAC Azerbaijan`s Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov has today met his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov as he is visiting Moscow. Mr. Lavrov offered condolences to the Azerbaijani FM over loss of life and injuries as a result of a large fire in an apartment block in Baku. He said they would discuss with Mr Mammadyarov the issues determined by the two countries` presidents. Mr Mammadyarov said Azerbaijan and Russia were bound together by ties of history. He hailed the “constantly growing” trade between the two countries, and the bilateral humanitarian relations and cooperation on the international scene.
