Azerbaijani, Turkish FMs discuss regional and global issues

Baku, January 29, AzerTAc Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and his Turkish counterpart Mevlut Cavusoglu have discussed regional and global issues as they met in Ashgabat on the sidelines of a trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Turkey. The sides hailed the current state of relations between the two countries. They said Azerbaijan-Turkey ties were based on friendship and brotherhood. The FMs lauded the meetings held at different levels during the visit of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to Turkey on January 14-15, 2015, in terms of further development of bilateral relations. Mammadyarov and Cavusoglu stressed the importance of a trilateral meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Turkey in terms of the development of regional cooperation.
