Azerbaijan`s Defence Minister meets Adjutant General of Oklahoma

Baku, July 17 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijan`s Defence Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov has met Army National Guard major general, Adjutant General of Oklahoma Myles Lynn Deering. Mr. Hasanov highlighted the situation in the region, as well as continuation of the Armenian aggressive policy, increasing the violation by Armenia in frontline. The Minister praised positive results gained in the various directions of cooperation between the two countries and hailed boosting ties between the Army National Guard of Oklahoma State and Azerbaijani Armed Forces. He stressed the importance of further developing these bonds. Myles Lynn Deering, in turn, thanked Azerbaijani Armed Forces for contribution to International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan. He praised efficient military cooperation between the two sides and stressed the significance of boosting these ties. They exchanged views on bilateral cooperation. The US ambassador to Azerbaijan Richard Morningstar was present at the meeting.
