Azerbaijan`s Deputy Prime Minister meets Secretary General Inter-Parliamentary Union

Baku, June 16, AZERTAC Azerbaijan`s Deputy Prime Minister Ali Ahmadov has met Secretary General of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Martin Chungong. Ali Ahmadov praised the visit of Secretary General of IPU to Azerbaijan. He expressed confidence that this visit will play a significant role in expansion of inter-parliamentary ties and also will make a contribution to cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Union. Martin Chungong said the IPU attaches great importance to boosting relations with Azerbaijan. On the Armenia-Azerbaijan, Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Martin Chungong his organization supports the peaceful settlement of the problem, within norms of international law and the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
