Azeri chief electoral officer meets head of OSCE Office in Baku

Baku, February 14 (AzerTAc). Chairman of Azerbaijan`s Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov has today met head of the OSCE Office in Baku Koray Targay. Panahov congratulated Targay on his appointment as head of the OSCE Office in Baku. The Chairman said the Central Election Commission enjoys close cooperation with international organizations, including OSCE. Panahov noted the Commission had implemented many election-related projects jointly with the OSCE Baku Office. The head of the OSCE Office in Baku praised cooperation with Azerbaijan`s Central Election Commission. Targay said the OSCE Baku Office was interested in continuing cooperation with the Commission. They also discussed other issues of mutual interest and prospects for cooperation.
