Tehran, Jan 1, IRNA -- Aziz Kazemi Director-General of Bureau of Aliens and Foreign Immigrant Affairs (BAFIA) says with a few exceptions, all immigrants entering Iranian soil are in dire need of help and reliable. ˈUnfortunately, there have been certain individuals like notorious and dissident elements or extremists entering Iran along with others, i.e. the so-called immigrants or refugees. The group is seriously encountered after identification. However, almost all the refugees in Iran are reliable and in pressing need of help. Unfortunately, there are occasionally a few among the refugees who have acted contrary to the law,ˈ said Kazemi when asked by IRNA whether there had been among those coming to Iran under the guise of refugees the group of individuals who followed espionage or security objectives. He noted that all the offenders and refugees doing unconventional acts or a violation would be encountered based on the countryˈs law. Asked whether there are any Syrian refugees in Iran, Kazemi said there had been no request per se and volunteers were advised to refer their call to the legal authorities./end
