Basiji students hold demo to condemn anti-Islam film

TEHRAN,Sept.18(MNA) – Basiji students of Amirkabir University of Technology in Tehran held a demonstration on Monday to voice outrage over an anti-Islam film produced in California, which has sparked violent protests across the Muslim world. During the demonstration, students set the flags of the United States and Israel on fire and chanted “Down with the United States” and “Down with Israel.” On Sunday, thousands of seminary students and teachers also held a demonstration at the Feizieh School in Qom to condemn the anti-Islam film. The blasphemous two-hour film which was produced, directed and written by a 56-year-old Israeli Jew filmmaker based in California, mocks the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and portrays Muslims in a bad light. The movie cost $5 million to make and was financed with the help of more than 100 Jewish donors.
