B.Bat-Erdene and N.Udval are registered as candidates together with current President

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its meeting ran Friday, the General Election Commission (GEC) registered Ts.Elbegdorj, B.Bat-Erdene and N.Udval as the candidates for the Presidential election which will be held on June 26. The GEC made the decision on registering them after analyzing the candidates’ application materials in accordance with the election law, and will grant to them certificates of candidate. As informed before, the current President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj is nominated from the Democratic Party (DP), B.Bat-Erdene—from the Mongolian People’s Party (MPP), and N.Udval—from the Mongolian People’s Revolutionary Party (MPRP). The same day, the GEC approved a composition of the IT teams that will work at election constituencies. As the GEC approved, these teams comprised 146 officials. Process of discussing the registration of the candidates was observed by foreign observers for first the first time.
