Belarusian President Calls For Expansion Of Ties With Iran

Moscow, Feb 15, IRNA – Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenka, in a message to his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, expressed hope for expansion of ties between the two countries. According to the report of Belarus Presidential Office on Tuesday, President Lukashenka in his felicitation message on the 33rd anniversary of Islamic revolution victory called for expansion of cooperation in all fields. He expressed confidence that long and friendly mutual relations will be strengthened in the future, too. The Belarusian president also expressed pleasure with current mutual ties level. Iran Vice-President in International Affairs Ali Saeedlou recently visited Belarus heading a high ranking delegation./end
