"Big Cleaning Day" launched to welcome NLA members, national reform councilors

BANGKOK, August 16 (TNA) - A "Big Cleaning Day" was launched at the Thai Parliament in Bangkok on Saturday (Aug 16) to welcome upcoming conventions of National Legislative Assembly (NLA) members and those of the National Reform Council (NRC). Secretary Genereal of Thailand's House of Representatives Chare Phanprueng presided over the launch of the "Big Cleaning Day", after that officials of the House and those of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) used high pressure water hoses to help clean up the Parliament building, including its inner areas and compound. Chare said the activity should also help create love and unity among the officials and should help maintain suitable environment for everyone. Besides, Chare noted, the House Secretariat is also preparing information technology (IT) facilities, as well as parking lots for the NLA members and national reform councilors. (TNA)
