Bipolar System Will End By Expansion Of Islamic Awakening Movement : Official

Tehran, Dec 16, IRNA - Head of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization Mohammad Baqer Khorramshad said that the bipolar system will end through expansion of the Islamic Awakening movement. Khorramshad made the remarks in his meeting with the visiting Russian Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky. He said as the Islamic Awakening movement is growing, the bipolar system is moving towards its end. He then called for further expansion of cultural cooperation between Tehran and Moscow, adding that such relations can play key role in the current sensitive global and regional atmospheres. He further called on the Iranian and Russian nations to bolster strategic cooperation in order to successfully face destructive measures made by the West and the US in the region. Medinsky, too, welcomed promotion of cooperation between the two countries and underlined the need to foil conspiracies of the extremist powers./end
