Birth Anniversary Of Imam Reza (AS) Observed Across Pakistan

Islamabad, Sept 18, IRNA – Shiites in Pakistan along with Iranian diplomats have observed birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Imam of the Shiites with religious fervor. On this occasion, special programs were held in Imambargahs and Islamic centers of all major cities of the country. In connection with the auspicious occasion programs were held in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, Peshawar, Quetta, Skardu, Fasialabad and Hyderabad. Iranian diplomats along with Iranian citizens in Islamabad also observed the occasion at a mosque in the Iranian complex in diplomatic enclave. Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan Alireza Haqiqian, principal of Imam Husain College and senior Iranian diplomats participated in the program. Iranian consulates and cultural centers in all major cities of Pakistan also observed the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS).
