Birthday of DPRK to Be Marked in Russia

Pyongyang, August 20 (KCNA) -- Preparatory committees for celebrating the 70th birthday of the DPRK were formed by Russian political parties and organizations from August 9 to 14. Dolgachev, first secretary of the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and chairman of the Association for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in the Far East Region, M. A. Suraikin, chairman of the Central Committee of the Communist Party "Russian Communists", Vadim Kudimin, director of the Russian Institute of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism, Dmitri Kostenko, chairman of the Russian Association for the Study of the Juche Idea, and V. P. Isakov, first secretary of the Central Committee of the Lenin Young Communist League of the Russian Federation, were elected chairpersons of the preparatory committees. The preparatory committee decided to give wide publicity to the exploits of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il for the foundation and development of the DPRK and the reality of prospering Juche Korea through media, and host various political and cultural events. -0-
