Boroujerdi, Nasrullah Discuss Regional Issues

Beirut, March 2, IRNA – Head of Majlis (Iranian parliament) National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, Alaeddin Boroujerdi, and Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrullah, in a meeting on Saturday, discussed the latest regional developments. Boroujerdi led an Iranian parliamentary delegation which left Tehran for Damascus on Tuesday on the first leg of a regional tour which later took them to Lebanon. During their stay in Lebanon, the Iranian MPs also held separate talks with President Michel Suleiman, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, Prime Minister Tammam Salam and Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil. The Iranian delegation returned to Tehran on Saturday./end
