Bosnia calls for expansion of parliamentary relations with Iran

Belgrade, Feb 19, IRNA - Chairman of Bosnian House of Representatives, Šefik Džaferović in a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Sarajevo Hossein Rajabi called for expansion of parliamentary cooperation at international forums. In the meeting, Šefik Džaferović thanked Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani for the message of congratulation on taking office and voiced the readiness of Bosnia and Herzegovina parliament to exchange visits with the Iranian counterparts and formation of parliamentary friendship group. The Iranian ambassador, for his part, conveyed the message of Iranian Majlis speaker for the appointment of Šefik Džaferović as the new Chairman of the House of Representatives and voiced Iran's readiness for expansion of parliamentary cooperation along with cooperating at international fora. Exchange of visits between the two speakers of parliament, exchange of parliamentary friendship groups, exchange of delegations and sharing experience about legislation as topics on the agenda in talks between the two sides, he said.
