Brazil Wants To Develop Bilateral Ties With Malaysian Parliament - Senate President

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 25 (Bernama) -- Brazil wants to develop strong bilateral relationships with the Malaysian Parliament and to study the country's success in adopting moderate and tolerant policies to maintain peace in the country. These were conveyed by Brazilian ambassador to Malaysia Carlos Martins Ceglia during a courtesy call on Dewan Negara (Senate) president Abu Zahar Ujang at Parliament House, here Tuesday. "He asked for the bilateral ties between Malaysia and Brazil to always be strengthened. He was also impressed with the administration of our government, it is not easy to unite all races in one country," Abu Zahar told Bernama after the two-hour meeting. Abu Zahar said Brazil also wanted to make Malaysia as its trade partner to penetrate the ASEAN market soon. "He expressed his admiration for the country which had successfully hosted the 27th ASEAN Summit last week," he said. -- BERNAMA
