BRICS leaders discuss Syria, Middle East, North Korea, Iran’s nuclear program - Kremlin

MOSCOW, July 27. /TASS/. The leaders of the BRICS group (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) discussed pressing regional problems on Friday at the morning session dedicated to BRICS development and strategic partnership priorities, the Kremlin reported on its website. "The participants in the summit discussed steps to further improve the organization’s activities, develop political, security and trade cooperation and coordinate actions on regional issues, including the situation in Syria and the Middle East in general, the settlement of the situation on the Korean Peninsula and around Iran’s nuclear program," the Kremlin said.
