Bulgarian Vice President hails justice reforms in Azerbaijan

Baku, November 21, AzerTAc Vice President of Bulgaria Margarita Popova has hailed justice reforms in Azerbaijan as she met the country’s Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov. She said her country is following with great interest the Azerbaijani government’s measures to modernize justice and legal system. The Bulgarian Vice President praised the organization of the 3rd session of the Assembly of Parties of the International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) in Baku. Ms. Popova also highlighted justice reforms in her country. Minister Mammadov hailed the Bulgarian Vice President`s speech at the IACA Baku session. He praised Azerbaijani-Bulgarian ties, particularly cooperation between the two countries` justice authorities. The Minister provided an insight into reforms in Azerbaijan`s justice system, particularly measures to ensure transparent election of judges.
