CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At a regular cabinet meeting on Monday, the Deputy Premier D.Terbishdagva introduced to the gathered a report on marking the National Great Festival--Naadam, dedicated to the 2223rd anniversary of the first Mongolian Statehood--the Hun Empire, the 808th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire and the 93rd anniversary of the People’s Revolution of Mongolia. - The cabinet summarized results of the official visits of the chairman of Turkey’s National Assembly Cemil Cicek and Latvia’s President Andris Berzins, and obliged the FM L.Bold to submit the issues to the National Security Council (NSC). - The cabinet considered as necessity to approve a plan of measures to be taken for realizing proposals put by rural people during a tour of the Premier to Dornod aimag. - The cabinet approved results of the first meeting of the Mongolia-Poland intergovernmental commission held July 24 in Ulaanbaatar. Orders were given to O.Chuluunbat, the Vice Minister of Economic Development and head of the intergovernmental commission's Mongolian side, to adopt a plan of measures in line of the meeting and to monitor its implementation. - A decision was made to allot additional financing of MNT 1.9 billion from the Development Bank of Mongolia for completing a construction of a paved-road between Ondorkhaan and Choibalsan.
