CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At a regular cabinet meeting on Monday, an obligation was given to J.Erdenebat, the Minister of Finance, to take measures for placing money in the 2016 budget for purchasing buildings of two kindergartens for 60 kids each constructed by the State Housing Corporation (SHC). - The cabinet discussed results of the visit of Hungary’s President Janos Ader to Mongolia paid this April 16-16 and ordered L.Purevsuren, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, to submit the results to the National Security Council (NSC). The FM also presented results of the working visit of the Mongolian President paid to the Russian Federation this May 6-9 on occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in Great Patriotic War. - An obligation was given to the FM to work out a program that supports Mongolians in returning home from foreign countries for permanent stay. This issue will be discussed by the cabinet. He also was obliged to approve a plan of works to be done in lines of the official visit of the Turkish FM to Mongolia this April and to control the program’s implementation. - The Minister of Finance J.Erdenebat presented highlighted his participation in spring sessions of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank (WB) held this April in Washington DC, the USA. - The cabinet backed in principle an altered agreement on rendering assistance and giving advice in the legal and administrative fields between the government of Mongolia and the Munich-based Hanns Seidel Foundation. An order of the PM will be issued to authorize an official to sign the agreement. - The cabinet discussed a bill on internal troops and decided to submit it to parliament.
