CABINET MEETING IN BRIEF

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At the cabinet meeting on Monday, obligations were given to D.Erdenebat, the Minister of Industry; J.Erdenebat, the Minister of Finance; and D.Oyunkhorol, the Minister of Environment, Green Development and Tourism, to work out technical and economic feasibilities of new factories of copper concentrate and purification and to implement them in accordance with the related laws under the most appropriate ratio of state and private sector’s participation. - A Business Summit will be held on June 18-20 in Ulaanbaatar with participation of international investors and domestic businessmen. - The cabinet decided to submit to parliament a draft law on adopting a credit agreement for a project on improving the employment capability, which has been established between the government of Mongolia and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). - The cabinet approved a directive to be maintained by a Mongolian delegation included in a forthcoming official visit of the Minister of Industry to Japan on June 29-30 and in the 7th Mongolia-Japan intergovernmental consultative meeting on the cooperation in the private sector’s trade and investment. Another directive was approved for the Mongolian delegation to participate in the 3rd Mongolia-Belarus intergovernmental commission of trade, economy, science and technical cooperation to be held on June 23-26 in Ulaanbaatar. - The cabinet discussed results of the state visit of the Bulgaria’s President paid to Mongolia on May 10-13, and then ordered the Foreign Minister to submit the issue to the National Security Council (NSC). - The Minister of Finance was allowed to allot money from the governmental reserve fund for hosting a regular meeting of the Global Anti-Corruption Initiative’s Governing Council and its regional seminar in 2015. - The cabinet discussed a draft amendment to the law on legal status of civil representative at court, and then decided to convey some proposals to the President, the draft initiator. - After discussing the 2014 performance of the Mongolian master budget, and a governmental financial general report, the cabinet backed in principle a draft resolution of parliament on adopting the 2014 budget performance, and considered as necessity to submit it to parliament.
