Canadian, Irish Delegations To Visit Iran Soon - MP

Tehran, Jan 7, IRNA – A senior member of Majlis (Parliament) said Tuesday that parliamentary delegations from Canada and Ireland will visit Iran in near future. Alaeddin Boroujerdi, Chairman of Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, announced that British parliamentary delegation has arrived in the Iranian capital this morning. Delegates from the European Parliament and Italy have recently visited Iran and held talks with the countryˈs senior officials on issues of mutual interest. In related developments, Deputy chairman of Germany’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) Andreas Schockenhoff arrived here Monday evening to confer with Iranian officials on various issues./end
