Candidate of Mardomsalari Front to be announced on Thursday

TEHRAN,Jan.21(MNA) – The candidate of the reformist leaning Mardomsalari Front (Democracy Front) will be announced on Thursday, Mostafa Kavakebian, the front’s secretary general, said on Sunday. Speaking to the Persian service of the Mehr News Agency, Kavakebian also said, “From the first day, we announced that if (former president Mohammad) Khatami stand as a candidate, the Mardomsalari Front will withdraw its candidacy.”
