Caspian littoral countries set up mechanism of five-party high-level consultations, Azerbaijani deputy FM

Baku, August 15, AZERTAC “To ensure effective implementation of the Convention on the legal status of the Caspian Sea and to review cooperation in the sea, the littoral states established a mechanism of five-party regular high-level consultations under the auspices of their Ministries of Foreign Affairs,” deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov has told AZERTAC in an exclusive interview. “By the way, it was agreed that the first meeting of the relevant working group will be held in Azerbaijan this fall,” he added.
