Chairman of Azerbaijani parliament attends meeting of CIS interparliamentary assembly

Baku, November 10 (AzerTAc). Azerbaijani delegation led by chairman of Milli Majlis Ogtay Asadov attended the meeting of the CIS Interparliamentary assembly in Saint Petersburg. The issues of interparliamentary interaction and integration of Commonwealth states were discussed at the meeting. Chairperson of the Council of Federation Valentina Matvienko was elected as Chairman of the Council of CIS Interparliamentary Assembly. Mr. Asadov held fruitful meetings with heads of parliaments of CIS countries to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation. He also met with Valentina Matvienko and speaker of Russian State Duma Boris Grizlov.
