Chairman of Nakhchivan Supreme Assembly meets Iranian Ambassador

Nakhchivan, November 14 AZERTAC Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov has met with newly appointed Ambassador of Iran to the country Javad Jahangirzadeh. Mr. Talibov spoke about the large-scale works carried out by the heads of state states in developing Azerbaijani-Iranian relations. The Chairman highlighted developing ties between Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and provinces of Iran, expressing assurance that this cooperation would be further expanded. Ambassador Javad Jahangirzadeh, in turn, stressed the importance of Nakhchivan in developing ties between the two countries. The diplomat hailed progress achieved in development of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, adding this opened wide opportunities for cooperation. Consul General of Iran to Nakhchivan Mansur Ayrom was also present at the meeting.
