Chairman of Nakhchivan Supreme Majlis meets Turkish Armed Forces delegation

Baku, October 22, AzerTAc Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov has met a delegation of the Turkish Armed Forces. Mr. Talibov stressed the importance of the Turkish delegation`s visit to Nakhchivan, hailing it as a “sign of friendly and fraternal relations”. He pointed out that the visit would contribute to the development of the military ties. Chairman of the Supreme Majlis lauded the role of the Turkish Armed Forces in build-up of the military in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. Mr. Talibov said Azerbaijan and Turkey maintained successful relations in a variety of fields, including the military one. Head of the Turkish delegation, commander of the 9th Corps based in Erzurum Seref Ongay praised army build-up measures carried out in Nakhchivan. Turkey`s Consul General in Nakhchivan Ali Rza Akinci was present at the meeting.
