CAIRO, 19th July, 2016 (WAM) – Chairman of the Permanent Arab Committee for Human Rights and the Legal Adviser to Omani Minister of Justice, Dr. Mohammed bin Suleiman Al Rashidi, has commended efforts by the UAE to promote and protect human rights. Al Rashidi told Emirates News Agency (WAM) in statement on the sidelines of the 40th meeting of the Permanent Arab Committee for Human Rights, that the UAE has plans to advance protection of human rights. He called for promoting the human rights culture, especially in the curricula in Arab countries, stressing that there must be co-operation from citizens and community to help the competent authorities to tackle whatever disturbs the security of the society, and work together to protect human rights.
