Charles, Prince of Wales meets with group of media executives, including AZERTAC, in London

London, May 17, AZERTAC Charles, Prince of Wales has met with several media executive executives, including AZERTAC Chairman of the Board Aslan Aslanov as a solemn ceremony to mark the 150th anniversary of the UK’s Press Association (PA) has been held Tate Britain art gallery in London. The Prince of Wales asked the media executives about the role of technological innovations in the media development. The event brought together heads and representatives of a number of news agencies, including Reuters of the UK, Associated Press of the US, TASS of Russia, Anadolu of Turkey, ANSA of Italy, TT of Sweden (Chair of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA), Agerpress of Romania, BTA of Bulgaria, PAP of Poland, ANA/MPA of Greece, and UK media representatives. In his remarks, PA Group CEO, president of the News Agencies World Council (NACO) Clive Marshall hailed the progress of media over the past century. Heads of news agencies were informed of the international events which were held in Azerbaijan, as well as the Baku International Humanitarian Forum scheduled for this October. AZERTAC and Press Association have maintained cooperation since 2008 within the framework of the European Alliance of News Agencies, and later at the World News Agencies Congress.
