China Calls For Flexibility In Iran-G5+1 Nuclear Talks

Beijing, May 29, IRNA – China on Monday called for flexibility in nuclear talks between Iran and Group 5+1 scheduled to be held in Moscow from June 18-19. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin said that the two parties should consider addressing the concerns of each other. “China is studying latest report of Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency Yukiya Amano about Iranian nuclear program and welcomes positive interaction between Iran and IAEA.” He said that China encourages dialogue between Iran and the UN nuclear agency to clarify the ambiguities about Iranian nuclear program. Asked to comment on nuclear talks held in Baghdad on May 23, Liu said that they reached some agreements, but, differences still remained./end
